My Pharr roof already has two layers of shingle. Can you add a third?

We do not. A third layer hides what is underneath and adds weight the frame was never sized for. On homes from the 1980s and 1990s we tear off to the deck and look at every sheet. We replace what is soft. A roof stacked on two layers also cooks faster in this heat.

The metal cover over my carport ties into the house roof. Does it come off too?

Not always, but the joint does get opened. That seam between the cover and the main roof is the first place water finds on a Pharr house. We lift the flashing, run the new underlayment under it, and set it back. If the cover itself is rusted through at the wall, we say so before you pay for shingle around it.

Where does the dumpster go if my driveway holds a truck and a trailer?

We pick the spot with you before the trailer shows up, and it goes in the paperwork. If your block has an alley behind it, that is usually the easiest place for the roll off.
