Introducing01

Remodeling planned around your house.

Aceves Home Remodeling is a remodeling company based in Rio Grande City that works across the Rio Grande Valley, from Starr County to South Padre Island. We do roofing, fencing, porches, flooring, kitchens, bathrooms and additions, and every project is planned around the house and the family that lives in it.

Aceves Home Remodeling is led by David Aceves, who came up building custom homes with Cuates Construction, from the slab and the framing to the roof and the finish work. We know how a house goes together, so we can see what yours needs and plan the remodel around it.

How we work04

How a project with us works.

Remodeling has a reputation in the Valley. Contractors who take a deposit after a hail storm and disappear are the reason. Our process is built to be the opposite of that.

Frequently asked questions

How far do you travel from Rio Grande City?

All four counties of the Valley: Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy and Cameron, out to South Padre Island. Jobs past McAllen carry a travel rule that we tell you before you commit, so the number in your estimate is the number you pay.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. The walkthrough is free and takes about 45 minutes. You get a complete, line-item price in writing, and nobody calls to pressure you afterward.

Can I get the estimate and the contract in Spanish?

Yes, both. You are served, quoted and signed in the language you prefer. The whole site exists in Spanish too, with its own pages, not a translated copy.

Is your company licensed?

Texas does not issue a state license for general contractors or for roofing, so any company that advertises one is telling you something that does not exist. What you should ask for instead is proof of general liability insurance, a written workmanship warranty and a list of jobs you can go look at.

Do you handle electrical and plumbing?

Those two trades do require a Texas state license. When a job needs them, they are done by a licensed electrician or plumber, and we tell you who before the work starts.
