About coverage and travel

Is there a minimum job size at the far end of the Valley?

In zones 3 and 4 there is either a minimum or a travel charge, because the drive is half a working day. The rule for your address is confirmed on the written estimate, before you commit to anything. Work in Starr County carries neither.

Does the same crew drive out, or do you hire local help?

The same crew drives out. David is on site for the walkthrough, the start and the final walk on every job, whatever the distance. The only trades we bring in are the ones Texas licenses at the state level, meaning electrical and plumbing.

How many days a week are you in the east Valley?

It depends on what is booked. We group jobs in Cameron and Willacy counties into the same stretch of days, so the crew is not on the highway every morning. Your start date is set before you sign, not guessed at afterward.

Do you work on South Padre Island and Port Isabel?

Yes. Both sit about 130 to 135 minutes from Rio Grande City, so they fall in zone 4 with the travel rule. Salt air there corrodes fasteners and flashing years early, so the material you pick matters more than it does inland.
