What happens after you send the form?
The form has four fields: your name, your phone, the service and your city. Nothing else is required. The email field comes after you send, and it stays optional.
Your city sets the zone of the job, so we already know the drive time before we call. A person reads the form, not a robot. You get a call back in the same language you wrote in.
That first call is short. We confirm the address, ask two or three questions and agree on a day for the visit. No price is quoted on that call, because a price needs measuring first.
How soon does David come out to look?
Most visits happen within two or three days of your call. Jobs in Starr County are often the same week, because the drive is 30 minutes or less. Harlingen, Brownsville and South Padre Island take longer to schedule, since the island is about 135 minutes away.
The visit itself runs about 45 minutes. David measures, photographs the problem and looks at what is behind it. Then he goes back and writes the numbers.
Rain moves roofing visits more than anything else in the Valley. If your day moves, David calls you himself. Nobody is left waiting in the driveway with no word.
What should you have ready when you call?
None of this is required. A call with nothing prepared is still a good call. Having it on hand only makes the first conversation faster.
If you have an open insurance claim, say so on that first call. The scope, the photos and the paperwork all work differently on a claim job. We document the damage with dated photos either way.
- Rough measurements of the room, the roof line or the fence run
- Photos of the problem on your phone, even blurry ones
- The age of the house, and the year of the last roof or remodel if you know it
- Whether an insurance claim is open, and the name of the adjuster
- Your city, because it sets the drive time and the schedule
- The one thing that has to be fixed, if the budget cannot cover everything
Will anyone pressure you to sign?
No. You get the written estimate, and then you decide on your own time. There is no discount that expires tonight, because that tactic exists to rush you.
We do not charge to come look at the job. We do not ask you to sign before the adjuster has been out, when there is a claim. The estimate is yours whether you hire us or not.
If the price does not work, say so. Many jobs can be staged in two phases, and some can change material without changing the result. That conversation is free, and it beats silence.

What is the fastest way to reach Aceves?
A phone call. The number in the header rings the business, and David or someone on the crew picks up. The form is there for nights and weekends, when a call cannot go through.
Do you handle the whole job in Spanish?
Yes. You are served, quoted and signed in English or in Spanish, whichever you prefer. It is a person who speaks your language, not a translate button on a page.
Do you have a shop I can walk into?
We are based in Rio Grande City and we work across all four counties. Whether there is a counter open to the public is confirmed when you call. Almost all of the work happens at your house, and the visit costs nothing.
What happens to my phone number after I send the form?
