Which Hidalgo County cities do you actually work in?

All of them. Sullivan City is the closest at about 20 minutes and sits in zone 1, our same day area. Mission, McAllen, Pharr and Edinburg fall in zone 2, between 42 and 58 minutes. Weslaco, Donna, Alamo, Elsa and Mercedes are zone 3, from 62 to 77 minutes.

Does a job in Hidalgo County cost more than the same job in Starr County?

The labor and material do not change with the city. What changes is the travel rule, which starts at zone 3 and grows with the drive. Zone 1 and zone 2 addresses do not carry a separate travel line. We tell you which zone you are in on the first call.
