A one-story ranch home in royal blue board and batten with white stone, under a gray shingle roof. Cedar brackets dress the gables, cedar awnings sit over the windows, and cedar posts carry the front porch.

Inside, wood-look plank tile runs through an open living room and kitchen under tray ceilings lit with LED strips. A wood front door and French doors open the living room to the outside.

The kitchen pairs a white island with natural wood base cabinets, black hardware, glass-front uppers and a herringbone backsplash. The laundry room has blue shaker cabinets, and the bathrooms have glass showers with linear marble-look tile and matte black fixtures.

What does a glass shower take besides tile?

Large marble-look tile, black edge trim and a glass panel only look this clean when the waterproofing behind the tile and the slope to the drain are right. That is what a bathroom remodel gets checked for first.

The tile joints, the trim and the glass line up because they were laid out together.
