Can you reuse the chain link posts already set in my Pharr yard?

For a like for like chain link repair, sometimes. For wood or iron, no. Those old posts are lighter than a panel fence needs. They are also spaced for chain link, not for a picket run. We set new posts in new holes and pull the old bases out whole.

How wide does the drive gate need to be for a truck and a trailer?

We measure the widest thing that has to pass, then add clearance on both sides. A gate that size goes in two leaves, not one, with a drop rod in the middle. The hinge posts get a bigger section and go deeper in concrete. A single wide leaf sags within a year here.

Do I have to fence the whole depth of a south Pharr lot?

No, and most owners do not. A common setup here is wood or iron across the front and along the yard. Chain link goes on the back stretch, where nobody sees it. You pay panel prices only where you want the privacy. We mark that split on the drawing first.
