Can I fence all the way to the irrigation canal behind my Mission lot?

Usually not to the water itself. Canals and drainage channels here normally carry an easement on both sides. That strip stays clear so the district can get equipment in. We find its edge before we lay out your line, and the fence goes inside it. A fence built in an easement can be removed at your cost.

My west Mission lot was built up with fill. Will the posts hold?

They will, but not at standard depth. Hauled fill stays loose for years, so a post has to reach past it into the ground underneath. We probe the line at the measure visit to see how deep the fill runs. That extra depth is priced on the estimate, not found on dig day.

My Mission subdivision has rules about the front fence. Do you handle that?

Yes. We ask for your subdivision documents and read them next to the city rule. The stricter of the two is the one that governs. Height, material and how far the fence can come forward are the three that usually differ. You get the layout in writing before anything is ordered.
