What houses in Mission actually deal with

Mission is zone 2 at about 42 minutes, so travel is a minor line on a patio cover here. Covered square footage, the clear span between posts and new footings move the price far more. A cover also takes two trips with the footing cure between them, and at this distance the second one does not add the travel line it would in zones 3 and 4.

South Mission holds a large winter resident population, and shade over the slab is the first thing they buy.
Many of those homes are manufactured, so a cover cannot hang off the wall and gets its own posts.
Most winter residents leave Mission in April and come back in October, which sets the whole build calendar.
Park slabs are often thin, so we measure the edge before deciding whether posts land on it or beside it.
Newer west side houses want a cover over a bare builder slab, which is a different job entirely.
Plenty of south Mission lots already carry an old aluminum awning from the original setup, and taking that down is the first line on the job.

Can you build a patio cover at my Mission home while I am up north?

Yes, and it is the easiest time to do it. We agree on the drawing and the price before you leave. Then you get dated photos at footings, at frame and at finish. Someone local needs to be able to let us onto the lot. You walk it with David when you get back, and the warranty is handed over then.

My Mission home is manufactured. Can a cover attach to it?

Not the way it would on a site built house. A manufactured home has no band board to carry a roof load. Hanging one off the wall pulls the siding and opens a leak. We build it freestanding on its own posts and footings, set close enough to look attached. A flashed gap lets both roofs shed their own water.

The lots in my Mission park are tight. Is there room to set posts?

Usually yes, and we confirm it at the measure visit. We check the distance to the property line, to the neighbor and to the power drop overhead. Where the auger will not fit between homes, the holes are dug by hand. That costs more in labor, and it keeps the footings full size.
